  • At a minimum, portfolio companies joining the Agathos AEC platform will onboard onto our best in class ERP providing real-time strategic and operating analytics about your business.
    Administrative support for the following functions will be managed centrally at the platform:
    - Accounting / compliance
    - Payroll and employee benefits
    - Tax
    - Legal
    - HR / Talent acquisition
    - Facilities & IT

    • Geography:  U.S. (and Canada)

    • Size:  $0.5mm to $5.0mm with exceptions for larger companies where merited

    • Focus:  Architecture, Structural, Civil, MEP, Other Specialty Design Services

  • First and foremost, the key to any potential partnership is alignment of goals and values. We will never compromise on this foundational alignment for any company, no matter how attractive.
    We understand that business leaders can have different goals for themselves and their business/team post transaction, so we are able to provide flexibility and speed to close for any transaction.
    Typically, to ensure that incentives are aligned between buyer and seller, we will offer a combination of all of the following components:
    1. Cash at close
    2. An earnout over two years, mutually agreed between buyer and seller and based on the growth projections you’ve provided on your business.
    3. A seller finance note, with interest - that is payable at a fixed future date.
    4. Equity in the Agathos AEC platform - ensuring alignment from all teams with one currency.
